For nails, choose from manicures, gel polish, Luminary Structured Gel, Gel-X, Acrylics, and PolyGel. Keep it classic or bring on the nail art, our nail specialists won’t disapoint! Our pedicures offer time to unwind, with a seasonal porch option that makes the most of our Park Avenue setting.

In the spa, customized facials and advanced Dermalogica skin treatments—including peels, dermaplaning, nanoinfusion, and Luminfusion—give your skincare goals the attention they deserve. Maxim’s Estheticians are certified experts by Dermalogica and consistently attend continuing education to keep their skills and knowledge current with the newest products, treatments, and services options. Waxing, lash lifts, brow lamination services, and makeup round out your options.

What salon and spa services does Maxim offer?

Maxim Spa and Salon offers haircuts, hair color, blonding, hair extensions, manicures, nail enhancements, and pedicures on Park Avenue in Rochester, NY. Our spa services include customized facials, advanced Dermalogica skin treatments, waxing, lash lifts, brow lamination, and makeup. Which services require a consultation?

Consultations are required before booking hair extensions, perms, corrective color, fashion color, and blonding services. Some stylist will book a fashion or blonding services with a virtual consult through email. This gives us time to discuss your starting point, goals, maintenance, and the appointment time needed. You can book your consultation online or by calling direct.

Consults are $20-$30 and payment is required at time of booking.

isn’t blonding and hilights the same?

Nope! Highlights are the traditional weave and foil at the root. One color to add overall lightening to your whole head or used for grey blending. You will see a grow out line of new hair hair that has not been colored in 6-10 weeks.

A blonding service is a multi-technique service that adds dimension and a personalized outcome, adding brightness where it matters, pops of color and light, and usually 2-3 colors or toners to achieve desired results. A Blonding service grows out naturally with no or minimal grow out lines.

How do I book an appointment?

Use our Book Appointment button to view available services, providers, and appointment times. Some services require customized timing and cannot be booked directly online. If you can’t find what you need—or aren’t sure what to choose—call 585-256-0838 or email frontdesk@maximspaandsalon.com.

For nail appointments, please remember to include any gel polish and enhancement removal or nail art design you’ll need so we can reserve enough time.

For ongoing benefits, we offer paid memberships for skin services, nail care, flexible service points, or member perks. Depending on your plan, benefits include double points, selected service discounts, retail savings, and early access to Maxim events. Yes! We offer bridal hair and makeup, with both in-salon and on-site options. We can also help you plan wedding preparation services, including facials, waxing, manicures, and pedicures.
